Hpc masterking software1/18/2024 I am back at trying to get this program up and working in Linux. I bought a new laptop (cheap Asus X551) with Windoze 8.1 and realized why I originally started looking for alternatives in the first place. I finally gave up and began using Windoze for work and Linux for everything else. To answer the person asking if I ever resolved the issue: No. I guess since this thread is still able to be posted to, I am going to revive it. OK, the terminal output for Code Source is different than for Master King. Will it help if I copy and paste a terminal output when trying to open the program that way? I have tried to work with winetricks with no luck and even tried play on linux lately. I'm not too linux literate, but manage to get around in the terminal as long as I have very detailed set of instructions to go off of. Most of the things I have tried have spanned over the past year, so I don't remember all that I've already tried, but mostly it has involved. Clicking the icon in the Wine menu, I simply get "File not found". I've also figured a way past the algorithm so I can essentially have the "same installation" across both windows (xp) and linux.Īnyhow, I get a "Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object" message when I click the icon on the desktop. I have three valid install codes (for different windows machines) and three more left that I can get. there is a registration code that has to be put in too, but that isn't the issue. Install requirements are simply windows 98 and newer OS according to HPC's (manufacture) website. Also has two accompanying programs: COA and Master King. It is a locksmith code data base program called Code Source. I am running Linux Mint 9 and trying to install a windows program that will never have a linux alternative. ![]() I have read and read and read and cannot seem to figure this out. In general, a "skin" in a video game is an alternate outfit of some kind, whether for a character or item. The answer centers on "skins" in Global Offensive, and no, the term has nothing to do with the expression of "having skin in the game." Let us explain. How did it come to this? How did a video game become a gateway to gambling for its players, many of whom admit to being under the legal gambling age in the U.S.? Following a report this past spring about Global Offensive players essentially using the game to gamble, a scandal came to light in which a couple of well-known Counter-Strike YouTube personalities were outed as owners of a Global Offensive betting website that they promoted in their videos.
